Today, I started playing tennis at 7am. I ended at 12pm. I cannot believe it, 5 hours.
One guy is very nice....the others, I don't care for...there were about 6 men...all over 55 and me.....oh and one other younger man...lots of testosterone...and big egos....very not fun to play with these...
I really like one or two of the men who play.
Females are not always treated nicely by the not nice men...really degraded... But thank God for the one or two who make up for the others! I have so much fun playing with nice people and not fun playing with the others...
So all in all, it was not perfect but I guess good to have played...
The nice one is probably one of the best players. The others just want to win. I don't like playing with this second type.
I am pretty good myself and these men do not like this, 42 year old female who is as good or better than they are...the nice one does not care, as he is better than I am and I don't think would care either way....
oh well, I hope to play only with the nice ones and don't know how to accomplish this yet...

You know what is funny? The nice fellow and I did play very briefly one time...when he was waiting for his partner...his partners are all about 70 years old and very good still...he is very good too...
He is so nice to them and looks out for them running and such on the court...
He is my age more....40's...
When we did play, I had not been playing for a long long time and nothing was going in well. He just started giving me tips...
I asked him, do you teach tennis? And he said smiled and said no, he was just giving tips...which was totally fine...he is very nice and I didn't feel insulted at all...
I think I will just have to ask for his phone number or else just see if we don't show up at the same time on Sundays and neither have a partner...and we can rally again...
Thing was today...I played with the guy I usually hit with after everyone else leaves...who I don't like ! He is not nice! I don't enjoy hitting with him...
And the nice guy plays on the court just over the other side or next to ours and we sometimes say hello....but usually the guy I don't like stays after and wants to hit....so I do with him...even though I want to be playing with the nice one on the other court...

I DIDN'T EVEN FEEL LIKE IT WAS MOTHER'S DAY CUZ MY KIDS DIDN'T DO ANYTHING FOR ME THERE 46 M& 42 YRS OLD . my son called but, didn't even send a card he could od sent flowers . yrs. ago they took me out for dinner but, since he got married she took that away from me .AND MY OLDEST SON ISN'T WORKING THOUGHT IF HE WOULD OF TAKEN ME OUT FOR BREAKFAST OR LUNCH .MY HUSBAND NEVER DID ANYTHING FOR ME AS THERE NOT HIS CHILDREN AS I DON'T DO ANYTHING FOR HIM FOR fATHER'S DAY .bUT, I WAS DEPRESSED FOR mOTHER'S DAY IT WAS JUST ANOTHER DAY & THAT'S ASHAME .my mother has passed away but i always bought her flowers & took her out to dinner . Oh you deserve flowers and to be taken to dinner if you want to....sometimes people are thinking of you and loving you but are just having too many difficulties to be there...your children love you I am sure no matter what...even if there is a lot of pain or anger..and some people just cannot give the love they don't feel inside....but you deserve it and Happy Mothers Day!!!!! :) :)
I am not a mother except to my cat who I love dearly. And I don't feel bad no matter what she does, it is easier but having kids is a blessing ....

THANKS so much for your reponse it really made me feel good .Sometimes ur better off with a a pet .AS they luv u unconditionallly.My daughter in-law has caused alot of probelms with mother's day .before my sons would take me out to dinner .But, my son who is working could of sent me flowers it would of meant the world to me .TALKED TO MY OLDEST & TOLD HIM HOW BAD I FELT so he said we can go out for lunch that made me feel better but,the fact still reminds that i didn feel like a mother on Mother's Day Thank God i always took my mother out .write me sometimes i feel so alone luv silverfox 46
