Hi MM,
I like your list of things to initiate. I schedule a break every 90 minutes by setting my kitchen timer. I get a drink of water and break for at least 5 minutes. Recharging time is critical for high energy sports. What's good enough for Olympic athletes is good enough for me. The more used coping tools in the bag the better.
Thanks.
Ric
Hi there!
This sounds like a great strategy if you can do it. Sometimes it is not always possible to take breaks throughout one's day but if you schedule them...they sure are more likely to happen. I may just give this a try. I just have to get my children on the same schedule. :>)
Thanks for your comment...it is much appreciated.

excellent list! I especially liked the one about practicing doing nothing. I'm going to try to do that for 5 min. tomorrow.
there is a terrific audio program called Mindfulness for Beginners that I find really helpful in terms of reconnecting to the present and to joy in the moment. It has several lessons in meditating that are very easy to learn.
Thanks Lene!
I appreciate you dropping by. This author is very good...yes...I recognize the name. I am going to check out this audio program. It sounds like something I can use right about now. :>)
I hope you have a lovely weekend. Thank you for sharing with us today.
