Depression & Suicide: Vitamin B12 Supplements in Mood & Nerves, Gluten Free Diet

By Merely Me, Health Guide Wednesday, June 03, 2009
It is that time again to recognize someone from our My Depression Connection Community who has helped our site to grow and become an even better place.   This week's award goes to Pat.   I have been writing here since August of last year and I think Pat has been here for just ...

It's nice to be recognized.

I really appreciate it Dianne, things are starting to act weird with my symptoms right now. My pulsating nerves from my neuropathy are getting stronger as I convert my diet towards gluten-free. I can only hope that its a good sign and not for the worse. I am emotionally good and my belly isnt bloated and is actually shrinking. I just wish that my doctors had been better many, many years ago. I dont even know that this is a celiac issue or not, or if it will even help in the long run. I just know that I am not going to leave my family a bunch of bills to pay if I end up going down hill.

I hope that everyone that suffers depression/anxiety finds some kind of answer and gets help. I hope that I can keep helping.

Thanks again,

Pat

Hi Pat!

You deserve to be recognized...you do a lot here to try to help others.

I know a lot about the gluten free diet as my son has been on it for years.  For him...it helped his gut issues as well as his eczema.  I hope it helps you too with what ails you.

I have been taking vitamin B-12 supplements lately and this has been helping me with my mood and with my MS symptoms.  Not sure if it a placebo effect though.

I do hope you keep on assisting others on the site...thank you for all that you do.

I did a lot of research today and found that Methylcobalamin is the best B-12 you can use to treat nerve issues.
