Depression Support from listening to Wisdom, Kindness, Self Awareness, Insight

By Merely Me, Health Guide Wednesday, July 15, 2009
I have been meaning to give this award for some time now to a very special member of our community.  Her name is Judy.   Judy has been a member of My Depression Connection for some time now and most of her time is spent in giving to others.  All you have to do is read Judy'...
Is Depression a Biological Disease?

Merely Me, thank you for your kind words.  I have learned so much from seeing what other people write and hope I can be helpful when I know enough about a topic to be able to comment.  I feel much sympathy for anyone struggling with depression because I know it is no fun at all at best and a living hell at its worst.  Thanks again - it means a lot.

You are very welcome Judy...I have been thinking for some time that I wanted to acknowledge you in some way here.  It is very hard when you have depression and it tends to make one be sucked into themselves...it takes a lot of willpower to climb out  of one's head and say..."hey there are other people here who are like me."  You have done that and more so...you lend an ear...and try to help.

Thanks again Judy...I hope you continue to stay on with us for a very long time.

Judy deserves this award. She has been quietly encouraging, conversing and making people smile for quite a while. I've not had the pleasure of discussing anything with her, but I have read much of her comments and have been waiting for her formal recognition in this way. She contributes greatly to the spirit of members here.

She belongs in the new built, cavernous, granite Hall, created specifically to display these awards at Health Central headquarters, or at least, is in the preliminary stages of imagination.  Smile

But when it is built, I shall visit and remember these fine people, like Judy.

Thanks a lot, Paul, Rose and S/Momdukes - I would say the same about you all, too!  Being on this site has been interesting - as Merely Me said, who needs fiction when people's lives are like what we see here.  It's nice that we can help each other because we've been there.  And a little gallows humor now and then helps, too!
