Faith, Healing and Depression
I wanted to let you know that when I had asked you guys back in October to write down questions for the Faith and Healing bloggers from The Washington Post to answer, well they are now beginning to answer our questions. Here is that original question of the week about faith and healing.
Here is the link to the Washington Post "On Faith" page where they describe this project between Health Central and their faith bloggers.
The questions they have answered thus far include:
1. Why doesn't prayer heal everyone? Here is an answer from faith blogger, Rev. Dr. Anne C. Brower.
2. What do you do when you're depressed and your prayers don't seem to be answered?
This question was answered by Washington Post faith blogger Ramesh Rao.
3. Does God only give us what we can handle? This question was answered by faith blogger The Rev. Dr. Albert Scariato, M.D.
4. Does faith ensure happiness? This was answered by faith blogger Dr. Erica Brown.
So we are on a roll here! They want us to continue to give them questions to answer so the way you do that is to ask a question right here in the form of a comment to this post. The question should be concise and be related to faith, healing and depression. I will then send them to the faith bloggers to answer! It is as easy as that. I will start this off by asking a few questions of my own to get the ball rolling.
Thank you for your participation!
