Well, folks, I have finally had the upper and lower endoscopies I have been putting off for a long time. Turns out I have Celiac Disease (they confirmed by biopsy) but that everything else is okay. My anemia had gotten so bad they assumed there was bleeding somewhere, but Celiac can cause iron-deficiency anemia. I'll just have to revamp my diet now and see how it goes.
I'm sure anemia has contributed to the fatigue I've been experiencing. I don't know about anxiety, depression, confusion. Hopefully a change in diet will help them all. And stop the itching.

Hi, Donna. I'm sorry that you have celiac disease, but maybe it's somewhat of a relief to know that it's maybe the cause of your not feeling so well lately. Do you think the dietary changes you have to make will be difficult? Is it wheat and gluten that you have to avoid? There's always flourless chocolate cake! Well, it will be interesting to see just how this has been affecting you - would be nice if you've found the cause of the itching.
Take care.
