As I sat quietly this morning on my patio soaking up the brightly sunlit sky, watching the tiny little finches flutter around in the orange trees, hearing them chirping to one another, my soul was soothed & my spirit was lifted by the beautiful creations before me...
In turn, I stood & walked around my garden looking for signs of new blossoms, for me, it represents not only life, but a renewed hope I am given each day upon a newly risen sun. I found several new buds & blossoms of yellow roses, I touched the velvety petals so delicate on my finger tips, brought the roses to my nose & breathed in deeply. The roses left their delightful aroma on my fingertips...
For this, I am truly grateful...
I am grateful for the sweet & gentle kisses on my toes I woke to this morning from my doggie Gracie. I am grateful for the playfullness that my doggie Natalie displays...
I am grateful for the warm cup of coffee w/a splash of cream...
I am grateful that my body is free of pain right now & that my heart is filled with gratitude & love...

Hi Sunshine,
That was beautiful, sounds very peaceful in your garden, and your patio. Did you feel better after writing it? I do I think no matter what, just writing a grateful list, I feel better.
Getting kissed on the toes by your pet is the best.
How about grateful for all the scratches Emma put all over met this morning trying to give her the antibiotic?
I love her and even that is endearing. But her little head on my pillow this morning that I woke up to was more wonderful than most things in the world.
Do you have fibroymyalgia? I do and am so tired of the pain, makes the times with no pain so wonderful.
Marishka
Thank you for your sweet response, it was very touching to me...
I do feel better when I am grateful, feeling "alive" & well & counting my blessings...
I do not have fibromialgia, I am sorry you do, I hear this is a very painful condition.
There is nothing like the love of a pet, it is a member of our family...
What you wrote was so precious...
Bless Your Heart...
