A question for anyone who may know

by  H8ingmylifesometimes

I have major depressive disorder and possibly bipolar (wouldn't surprise me) anyways, the question I have is this:

I just found out that my thyroid is not working and I have been majorly depressed for over a month...can the function of or lack of thyroid effect how well your anti-depressive medicine works?  I currently take 90 mg of cymbalta daily and 1000mg of depakote sr daily.

Can my medication be less effective because of my thyroid?

Thanks

Kris
