I have been taking Cymbalta 60mg for about 3 years now. I had a downturn awhile back and the Dr. increased my dose to 90mg--oh boy, did that ever not work !! I almost lost it a couple of times. I failed to tell my family that we had increased my dose -- they called the Dr. cause I had no clue -- the Dr. decreased me back to 60 mg -- doing much better. Not sleeping well so we added low dose Ambien -- 10 mg -- I started hallucinating so I tried only 5 mg -- slept much better -- but it turned me into an agressive, don't care what ppl think of me or what I say kinda of guy-- so only taking cymbalta 60 mg again.  Just joined the site so thought I'd share a little and see what happens.

Welcome to our site, SAR.  Sounds like you're going through a lot of trial and error with your medications right now.  I know it's frustrating.  I've been on meds for more than 20 years and still have to do some tweaking now and then.  Ambien didn't do the trick for me; now I usually take Klonopin which works pretty well, but I still wake up a million times a night.

If there's anything we can help you with or information we can point you to, just let us know.  Feel free to just vent if you need to - everyone does it now and then!  Hope to hear from you again.
