Supanova - my idea of a fun day out

Just wanted to share with everyone a fun day I just had: I went to Supanova - a sci-fi convention that is held in Sydney. I got Karl Urban's autograph (the guy who plays 'Bones' in Star Trek, Emoer in Lord of the Rings, and the bad guy in both the Bourne Supremacy and the Chronicles of Riddick, amongst other things) and I watched both Karl Urban and Jake Lloyd (young Anakin in Star Wars I) do their Q&A's. Both guys were really friendly, nice people though Jake had little to say (he hasn't done acting since Star Wars). Karl Urban was really funny and he even went to the effort of putting a voicemail message on one fan's mobile and chatted with everyone who came up for his autograph, trying to discuss something different each time, and you should have seen his Q&A!

I had a ball so despite having a really rough time sleeping at the moment (I sleep in 20 minute bursts, when I can sleep at all), dealing with the usual depression stuff, and having a sore throat/cough bug thing I'm all smiles! I hope everyone else had as good a weekend and if not please find something that you enjoy doing and just do it, no excuses! It's so worth it!
