Inquiry into suicide in Australia

A friend of mine sent me info on Facebook about the inquiry into suicide in Australia and I thought that perhaps some people on here might want to contribute - if so follow the link in the letter from Kate, the person behind spreading awareness on Facebook, below.

Hey Guys

I'm writing to you because the Australian Government has announced an inquiry into suicide in Australia and I want you to write a submission to the inquiry!!

This inquiry gives everyone the chance to have their say about the issue and how it has impacted them and to submit their ideas and recommendations. You don't have to be an expert or even a professional in the area, the inquire also relies on submissions from community members real people who have had real experiences in any capacity to do with the area, For example, you may be a suicide attempt survivor, bereaved by suicide, a caregiver of someone who is suicidal or bereaved by suicide, a witness of suicide, you may have dealt with suicide in the workplace, have been impacted by media reporting of suicide, or simply be a concerned community member.

If you think you have anything to contribute this is your chance.

Please send in a submission if you have anything to contribute to the inquiry, all you need is a story on how suicide has affected you, proffesionally or personally, it is so important to have real peoples stories heard in these inquiries it is the only way that effective policies can be created.
