About Me

I've tried many different treatments for depression after finally being diagnosed at 17 (I first wrote in my diary I wanted to die at 10 and first started to commit suicide at 12 but no one knew). I've tried zoloft, avanza and efexor but am not a fan of medication - none of these worked for me. I've tried CBT, DBT, psychoanalytical therapy, acupuncture amongst others. I've talked to doctors, councillors, psychologists, psychiatrists, and those attached to the mental health team. I'm considered 'therapy resistant' - I actually was turned down from a trial for a new treatment because of that (I guess they didn't want to risk a negative result). But I guess the main thing is I'm still fighting. Always fighting. I'm now in my twenties.
