Worthy

Why aren't I worthy?

I so badly want to be

I feel I do the best I can

Why do you talk to me like I am a child?

Why do you give me those looks?

Don't you ...

    Hi Sherry,

If that is your partner you are talking about in your poem....its time to look at your relationship.  Living with constant stress cannot be good for your depression. I was married for 20 years to someone like that. It can really bring you down. I used to think I had the problem.  Maybe your partner is the one with the problems not you. Depression can make you think negative things. You are worthy....never forget that!  Any man who thinks otherwise and acts on it is not worthy of you! Best wishes

    Hi Rusty,

I was really down the other because the only income I have is SS.  I am currently going to school to get my GED and I would love to further my education after that.  I want to work but if I'm making minimum I will earn less than I'm getting now.

My boyfriend is a Lawyer and makes great but hates it because I'm not working.  I keep telling him I'm working on it.  I feel really bad that I can't contribute more.  He says he loves me but I can't believe the way he talks down to me.  I feel once I get a good job he won't talk like that to me anymore because I will walk out that door.

    I gotta run!

    Thanks,

    Sherry

      Dear Sherry,

You are so worthy!  You first need to understand that you will find happiness when you learn to love yourself.  You deserve to be treated with respect and dignity.  If you are not being treated that way, then perhaps you should remove yourself from your present environment.

I know it is hard to leave someone when you love him, but you are the only one who can make you happy. You and God. Depend on Him not other people for your happiness.
