Rain, rain, go away! Come back another day.  Me and Lola want to play.  No, wait...stay away! Just a little sunshine keeps the blues at bay.  Why so sad? you may say.  It's this wet and dreary day.  I dream of lovely May.  Just a little sunshine and it will be OK.  ...

Dear am, I know exactly what you mean about the rain, it's very depressing to watch and it makes me (Fibromyalgia) ache all the worse. I live in Mo.a nd not only has it rained non-stop, it's been unseasonably cold and that is bad too. I absolutely Hate winter. I probably need to move to AZ. or someplace. Are you on Rx's for your anxiety/depression? I am I guess it helps, sometimes I wonder. Well you take care down there and we'll pray for sunshine Sioux.

It is raining here too...that cold drizzle ugly rain...the kind of rain that seeps into your bones.  Not like a good dramatic thunderstorm but a lingering weeping of the skies.  a gray day basically.

Well...you can get all cozy on this kind of day...brew up some good tea...snuggle under covers...watch some bad movies.  The sun will come again.

    Keep writing...we are listening!

    Hi there,

I have lived in Oregon for 20 years and nobody knows the rainy season better than we do.  LOL

It is an old trick that Vitamin D3 is like liquid sunshine. The number one source of vitamin D3 is the SUN. When the sun goes away, we feel blue. Seasonal depression is very common here. Take the sun away from a plant.......and what happens?  It withers and dies.  Same thing happens to HUMANS. It has been proven to fight cancer, cure asthma as well as allergies.  That is how caster oil gained its popularity in the earlier days.............caster oil is VERY high in Vit. D. yet it was used to kill TB.

Start with 5000 IU of Vitamin D3 daily for a week.  This is a loading phase to replenish the D you had lost.  Then take 2000 daily.  Studies have proven that it increases your ability to fight off viruses............like the cold and flu.  It produces antimicrobial peptites that bond with the protein of the virus and break it down. 85% of the poplulation is deficeint in it.  Funny how we only get the cold and flu during the fall and winter months..........when the sun shines the LEAST.

imagine never having the cold or flu again.  Let me know and I can send referances to these claims.  Swine flu numbers high there?   Since I started this regiment 7 years ago........I have never had a cold and never had the flu.  And, I don't believe in vaccines.
