I didn't sleep at all Wednesday night. I kind of knew I wouldnt sleep. I have been so tired and in tons of pain for the last two weeks or more. But yet, I am unable to fall asleep. My mind races and I am in so much pain, I guess that keeps me from falling asleep.
I think I started 3mg of Invega on 10-21. Took it for a week when I first got up. And then I saw the nurse after being on it for a week, and told her I have been having headaches and migraines and was really tired. Now I am taking it at bedtime. She said I may not need the Ativan and Ambien. Well yeah, I took it at 7:30p Wednesday and I still was unable to sleep.
So I'm not sure where I'm going with this...
My thoughts are still blocked or whatever.
Had therapy on Wednesday, that was kind of pointless.
Last nite, I took the Invega and .5mg Ativan around 10:30..and I slept a little better than the night before. But still struggled.
Today, I felt ok. It was nice and warm out. I felt up to dusting for my mom. And I didnt have the migraine/headache/head about to explode feeling. I had been feeling like that for over 2 weeks, it seems. I still had the horrible back and neck pain.
I need to make some appts. I have been putting that off. I am afraid I will feeling terrible the day of the appt and won't be able to get to the appt. And I am afraid to make the phone call. I need to get my hair cut and my annual eye exam. Each of those appts cause some issues for me. Just irrational thinking/worrying I guess.
I have lost interest in most everything.
I still am wandering aimlessly around the house. I still am staring off into space.

Hi Strawberries,
I understand really bad pain. I had pain so bad I could not get up off the floor many times. It was all over my body. What helped/helps me is a muscle relaxer (cyclobenzaprine) and Qigong and walking. Qigong or yoga or tai chi is really good for pain I think. It helps you to focus on something specific and stretches or just slows down your body. Walking each day still is one of the best things for my pain, just the little exercise each day helps. And hot baths.
I hope you are sleeping better. For sleep, I drink decaf tea in milk, take a bath and listen to calming music. And sometimes take simply sleep medicine.
I know ambien works too.
I hope you are sleeping better. Also for my pain, I do art to focus on something else or clean and stop thinking about the pain. I know pain is hard though.
Hope it is some better.
