I've been having back pain everyday since May of this year. But it seems to have gotten worse maybe in the last month or so. It disrupts my sleep. I don't think I have any medical issues that would cause the back pain. It's hard for me to describe things, especially the back pain. Most of the time it is a tighten feeling...sometimes it feels like i pulled a muscle or like it's cramping. I also have neck pain. I thought it could just be tension, but sometimes I have this pain even when I'm not angry or tense. So I don't know. It seems like I also have knee joint pain..that was started maybe this week. I haven't done anything strenduous that would cause this pain. But that could be the problem, not having any exercise..but I have other issues with exercising, and plus I am usually feeling too unsteady to exercise/walk.

I'm probably forgetting some things, but this is what I've been experiencing as far as phsyical pain.

Oh, I have tried taking Aleve and Ibuprofen and that doesn't seem to relieve any pain. I have tried Icy Hot and similar cold/heat creams. I have tried using heating pads, too.

My primary care physician is a quack and I have no oher choice to see another dr. I have yet to see him regarding my back/neck pain. But in the past, I have seen drs/specialists regarding certain issues and back issues and they have never found anything wrong and would just send me to physical therapy. It doesnt matter now, I dont have the right insurance to see specialists right now.

I also seem to have butt pain (my therapist says that is where your hips are..I'm not sure about that [i'm pretty dumb]).. Yes, I do know your butt can hurt from sitting too much, but it hurts even when I'm not sitting. It sometimes feels numb or hot. Sometimes my back feels numb or hot, too.

Hi again

I am not a doctor but the physical pain you are describing could potentially be so many things.  If you are able...I would write down these symptoms and present them as a written list to your doctor and ask what you can do about this.  Back troubles can be quite painful...you needn't suffer like this.

I am sorry you don't have a great doctor right now but it does sound like you will have to be persistent (the squeaky wheel) to get some help for these things.  Is there any chance...like you suggest...that these could be tension or anxiety related?  When you are feeling emotionally better...does this physical pain go away?  The brain and body are forever connected so...our emotional well being does affect how well our body feels and vice versa.

I wish you the best and that things do improve for you.  Let us know if there is any specific information or support we can provide.
