Tks for your comments - I am feeling totally isolated so any communication I receive helps a lot.
I try and ask lots of questions but am usually given "just try it" or "don't u trust me" as I have been with the same G.P. for many years. So I go home and read on the internet which sometimes confuses me even more. I usually go by what my body tells me as I know it's reaction to new meds so well!!! How do you get those questions answered when your doctor is so busy and doesn't want to take the time?
I do not drink alcohol or use any drugs except the prescribed ones by my doctor.
Tks again,
Cocktailedout

Thursday, September 10, 2009 at 11:50 AMI am so with you on meds. Except the meds I am tried on don't work anymore. They call it antidepressant resistance. I sometime isolate but that makes my depression worse so I've joined a support group that helps being around people who have the same problem I do so they can relate. You said you go to a GP for your Meds? You need to be seeing a physiatrist for med management. If you can't afford one got to your Community Service Board in your city and you can get help with your meds for free if you qualify. Every city has one. If you need someone to talk to I'll be here.

Doctors are sometimes very eager to try to change up those meds. ASK ALOT OF QUESTIONS!!! Do you still drink? Alcohol can really mess w your symptoms.
