I have finally left Effexor behind me

Through my psychiatrist I was on Celexa, then Effexor 75mg, then, finally 150mg for a year, to "give me a boost." A boost I did not experience; I didn't experience productive energy surge, but rather 6-hour intervals of extreme drowsiness and fatigue, followed by insominia at 3AM, just when I needed to sleep. So I just joined this site... Kind of confused as to where I should post. I have been suffering from Major Depressive Disorder probably since 1998.
