life is short and futile

I sit at my computer and look at the rain. I think it has more of a purpose than I do I keep asking myself what would I most like to do before I die? I'm losing one more friend. I still feel the vacancy there; also in my eyes. Friends are hard to come by;harder yet to keep. Jon
