Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) affects the moods and thoughts of veterans. With this type of depression service members feel alone after having experienced things most other people have not.  This can result in introversion, sadness and mood swings, some of which can turn violent. The different person that returns from war can sometimes alienate those friends and family they used to be close to.
