PTSD affects a large number of service members and impacts their family and friends as well. Keeping an eye on troops to ensure their mental well-being and providing them with the resources and environment to seek help, counseling and treatment are vital to preventing their emotions from developing into serious depression and minimizing those feelings if they do exist.
On March 31, Clay Hunt, a marine hero and humanitarian, took his own life.
