I have been on afew different antidepressants during my lifetime. They all have side effects, elavil, triavil, and secaquel... but Paxil seens to cause more of a weight gain for me. I was 150 pounds in 2009 and today, I am 183 pounds. I gainec 33 pounds in the past year. So, I am going to talk to the good doctor and see if Trazodone is any better and if it will work on my depression. I wish I could help more, but if you ask your doctor, the two of you should be able to find a good treatment plan that works for you... Good luck
