some days i feel beyond hope too, then i try to remember to be grateful for the good things in my life, it helps for a while. i try to do affirmations, try to think to love myself, remember that god created me for a reason, but some days for the life of me i can't imagine what that is. i guess we just have to keep trying to be hopeful and grateful. loveourselves even on  those BAD days. we deserve love and happiness and we need to grasp it when we can. i will pray for you buggs. tc brendavo

No one is beyond hope.  All I can suggest is to be grateful for the gift you have of helping others.  Do you give others the opportunity to help you.  do you  have anything small in your life unconditional.  Painting, beloved pet, garden.  I've had a lifetime of suffering from depression and I'm the same age.   I go in cycles and try not to let others know.  What do you hope for?  Can you accept yourself as a beloved being, depression and all.  Maybe it's not about a fix but who's lives you touch.  I don't know the answers but I want you to have hope.

You are not beyond hope! Talk to your family doctor.

I am 53 years old and I think many people feel they can fix every one but their own problems. I don't think your different. I have changed though. Now, I know I can give people my own life experience, when they ask for it, but I can not fix anyone.

Have you gotten help for your depression before? If not, maybe its time to speak to your doctor and see if he feels your depressed, and get you the right kind of treatment, if you are.

Now you see you may have a problem so follow through and see what you need to heal of your own. You are not beyond hope. Give your self a chance, instead of trying to fix everyone and everything else. Thats a lot of stuff to carry around that got to heavy for me so I gave my friends, and family and"their" problems to God, to fix and now my load is a lot lighter to carry then everyones load.

Now that you see the problem your half way there.

Good luck!

God Bless
