The length of time Xanax takes to clear the body depends on your age and the condition of your liver. The half-life is 11.2 to 19.7 hours, so 99% of it would be out of your body in 2.3 to 4.2 days.

Employment drug screenings are meant to look for illicit drugs, not those prescribed for you. Take your prescription bottle with you when you go for the test, and you should be fine.

There are many varied answers to this question on the internet. From what I have read no more than 7 days from 1 dose. I would guess that 1 pill wouldnt last that long. Usually if you are honest about it they will take that into consideration.

Good luck,
