Anyone had experience taking Remeron?

I took Lexapro 10mg for over a year and gained weight on it, and had insomnia. I just started taking remeron 15 mg and have put on a few more pounds, and stopped taking the LExapro a few days ago. Does anyone know if you start to lose weight if you increase the dose of Remeron to 30mg or do you gain weight when you increase dosage. Does the weight go down after the med stabilizes in your body? I have heard that Wellbutrin can decrease your appetite, and may lose weight. Anyone had experience with Wellbutrin or remeron?
