i had to stop taking effexor as the drug quit working. My doctor and i took me off the drug slowly. I am now looking for a drug that will suit my system. Lexapro immediately improved my depression symptoms, however, my physical reactions were so bad, i had to abandon the drug.

Thanks for taking the time to answer!! I read your message just before heading off to the doc, and so went into it with a good idea in mind. I start Cymbalta tomorrow.
