Q: do they give prozac to people with drug problems?
I am hearing this more and more, probably because most drug addicts are depressed.

Yes, they do and prozac was really given a bad stigma years ago. It is a good drug that is inexpensive. What can be problematic is that one can feel so up on it that you want to take it to replace the drug of choice. Which may or may not be a good thing.
