prestiq and sudden overeating

Since being on prestiq I have been feeling better, but I have also noticed an increased appetite. I had heard that this drug decreases your appetite and people lose weight. I can't stop eating since being on this medicine. Is this due to the medicine?

Hi Rissa,

Thank you for your question! It is true that decreased appetite and weight loss have been associated with Pristiq. However, it's important to remember that a medication can have different effects on each person. If you think that the medication is causing your weight gain, you may want to discuss it with your doctor.

Best of luck,

Casey
