my mother is 83 and a half years old. She is on a very fixed income. I was told that companies have programs that can assist the elderly in paying for their medication. I need an application to apply.

Hi there
Let me give you some web sites to check out which will possibly give you some financial assistance:
Partnership for Prescription Assistance
I hope this helps! Let us know if you need further resources.
Hi, Suzanne. I don't know if this will help, but I've seen ads on TV that say "If you have trouble paying for _____, contact [the drug manufacturer] and we may be able to help." You should be able to find the manufacturer's name on the prescription bottle. I believe you can email them to find out more information. Your mother's doctor's clinic may also know of resources she can access. Some will even provide sample medications to people who can't afford it.
Maybe someone else might have a better idea, but you could try these two things and see if it gets you anywhere. I wish you the best and hope you're able to find the help your mother needs.
