Hello there
This is a good question for your doctor. Chantix is used to quit smoking. Here is a web site describing this medication and what it does.
On this site, the author says that "Chantix is not known to have any clinically significant drug interactions."
And here is a forum where many people discuss how they fare when taking Chantix to quit smoking.
Hope this helps some. Are you trying to quit smoking?

I suffer from depression. In fact, i am on Social Security Disability because of it.
i was taking Zolof to help with my depression. It worked very well. I started taking Chantix to quit smoking. I did so very easily while on Chantix. I continued taking the Chantix for 2 months or more after quitting, as this is recommened by Chantix Manufacturers. Because I was becoming more depressed (a side effect of Chantix) my Doctor raised my my dosage of Zolof to 100 mgs twice daily. I ended up in the hopital with a Seratonin reaction. The entire left side of my face lost all muscle support and basicly collasped. The droops came and went, about 15 to 20 minutes apart. I stopped taking Chantix and healed in about 24 hours. Beware. Chantix works great, but stay in complete communication with you Doctor at all times.
