how do i wean myself off of effexorXR?

i was taking 225mg a day..dropped down to 150mg a day (for 2 weeks), than down to 75 mg a day which i took for 2 weeks and than stopped completely. it has been about 1 week since i stopped completely. i feel a little "out of it" like being on cold medicine or something. but that's it...no pain of anykind. wondering how long i will feel "out of it". i had been taking effexorXR for about 10 mos.

I'm hoping that you're doing this with your doctor's guidance. If not, please contact your doctor as soon as possible. You have tapered off, fortunately, instead of just stopping it abruptly, but it's something that really should be done with the assistance of your physician.
