Q: I lose interest fast, so I don't read things. I just wanna yes or no answer. Can I take effexor & welbutrin together? I need a semi-high dosage of anti-depressants. Any suggestions?

Have a TBI. Got into accident in 96'. Been on anti-depressants & anti-anxiety since. If I stop taking my meds, I cry uncontrollably, until I get on something that works. I was taking Effexor & Trazadone. Trazadone isn't good during pregnancy, so I got off it. I am currently trying to have a baby. This is really all too confusing, I just want some answers!

Hi, there.  The best person to ask is your doctor, as we aren't medical professionals here.  There are several drugs that can be risky to take while pregnant.  Are you trying to come up with your own ideas about what drugs to take so that you can suggest them to your doctor?  You could also ask a pharmacist about the combination of these drugs and since you are pregnant, it would be most important to have some guidance with this.

Thanks for your question and let us know if we can be of further help.
