Are you sure that the Prestiq is causing this?  Have you asked your doctor about this being a potential side effect?

When I read how people react to this medication it is a very mixed bag...but many people seem to report that they don't eat as much. 

A similar question was asked here last year and you can read some of the answers given here by Prestiq users.

And here is a blog with about a hundred comments about Prestiq and how people fared on it.

I strongly suggest that you discuss your options with your doctor.  If it is working for you...it would be a shame to quit.  There must be a way to combat the weight gain somehow.
