is this medication good for the treatment of dementia /alzhemirs
currently person I know is taking this medication and she spends the day in the bed sleeps all the time has some problems with hypotension decreased appetite and does not want to do very much and even with attempts to encourage her to do small tasks she does want to do is this medication good for her

Without having done an evaluation on your friend, it's impossible for me to even guess what might be going on. For instance, who diagnosed her with dementia and did they use the word Alzheimer's disease? You might want to go to the website Our Alzheimers to ask your question.
You haven't mentioned the medication your friend is taking, but it seems evident that she should call her physician immediately with her issues. You could be describing a medical condition that isn't being treated, or that the medication being given to her isn't effective, or the medication she is taking has these as side effects which could be temporary. There are too many questions that need answering.
