Q: Support groups

is there any support out there for being a co-depressent?

I have decided to move on with life and no longer can deal with a depressed spous after 11 years. It has not only affected her but has affected me in  a negative way. I find myself in a funk and heading down the same road.

Hello there

I am sorry you are going through this.  There are support groups out there.  Are you looking for one on-line?  Of course you may always use this forum here to discuss what you are going through.

We have a separate depression forum right here on Health Central that you can check out.

And I have heard good things about a site called Depression Tribe which you may find here.

You can do a search also on yahoo groups to see if anything there meets your needs.

Hope this helps some.  Thank you for your question.
