Hello!

Depression is a personal health issue for me....

Saturday, October 18, 2008

Brigitte,

I'm sorry this is happening and is so upsetting to you. In the future, please remember not to put your name with anything anywhere online unless you're comfortable with people you know coming across it.

In the meantime, for some damage control here, I suggest you make some changes in your member profile. Log in through the box in the upper right corner of the page, then click on "My Home." Once on your home page, click the "My Profile" tab, then the "Edit Profile" link on that tab.

Right under the box where you can upload a photo or choose one from our gallery, there's a spot labeled "username." Delete your name from that spot and make up a username. It doesn't have to make sense. You can call yourself "Zebra," "Wonder Woman," anything you want.

If you entered other information on your profile that identifies you, remove it.

I'm not sure if those changes will change your name on what you've posted in the past or not. I can find out for you. Another option would be to start over with a made-up username and  have us delete everything you posted in the past. If you'd like to contact me privately about this, just click on my name above this answer. That will take you to my profile. Under my name, you'll find a "Send Message" link that will send me a private message.

I hope this helps,

Teri
