Things must have changed the last few years.  My doctor put me on prestiq and after going to my family doctor for rapid weight gain, I talked to my prescribing doctor and she read that it DOES cause weight gain.  I started out at 145 and I am now 207 and can not get it off. I am still on it, but not sure what else to take. It does work good, but at what cost? I am miserable at this weight.  I have always been a healthy eater and exercise all the time and this weight has made my mood worse. My doctor will not change it until I get my sleep pattern under control and then she we will work on it.  Mind you,i am a personal trainer and I cant train people to lose weight if I cant lose it myself. It DOES make you gain....
