I was placed on prestique 4 to5 yrs ago I went from 225 to 310 but i later found out that it was the combination of seroquel that put on the wight i stopped the seroquel and still taking prestiqe dropped 50lbs in three mns and still dropping i am bi-polar adhd mild scitzo and great depp with suicidal tendencies taking prestique feel fine chnged to saphris for bipolar and anxiety med increased pretique to 100mg and still loosing weight xyprexa or ativan for anxiety seems to work for me with constant bloodwork to check your chemical imbalances now i am getting perfect scores 100percent so no prestique does not make me gain weight it was seroquel so find out what other meds might be causing your weight gain some people gain weight and eat more when deppresed watch what you eat health foods home cooked meals salads eat less but more than uased to will increase metabolism in body and weight will go down fast just you have consult your family doctor he seems to know all side effects and can help you with this weight gain so pray to God dont forget about Jesus as your Christ and savior and read your Bible learn to love God before anything and yourself and this will open your eyes to all your real blessings of Godly things and pull you out of your deppression do not stop meds without talking to your doctor if you feel better and slowly see how you 2 can work it out GOOD Luck and God Bless
