i was looking for more info. on prestiq as i have been on it for 10 days as i slowly went of 40mg of lexapro. i am diaganosed as bi-polar but i haven't had a real manic episode in 5 yrs. just awful despairing dpression. i cry when i meet people, i seldom leave my home, my friends have disappeared. all i want to do is sleep. I SELDON IF EVER RAGE, MY MANIC PHASE IS ARTISTIC AND SPENDING;THE LATTER VERY BAD BUT IT MAKES ME FEEL GOOD. (caps a mistake not for emphasis). I didn't really blossom with this illness until i was 50 or so. i also have an abusive husband which makes this more complicated. but that isn't what you want to know. so here it is. i have been on lithium, i just became more depressed. yea, weight gain..that really depression.  LEXAPRO has really been the best. so far the prestiq isn't working as well. no side effects so far. i take 450 wellbutrin as well. i have been on cymbalta, made me a wreck, effexor, paxil, depakote, neurontin(but that's for scitica). i also have add, whoppee, so have been thru all the medicines except ridilin. they just make me sleepy. i hate being sleepy. here's a med. for sleeping that works ...trazadone. it used to be used for depression but, guess what, made people sleepy. there have been many other anti-depression meds, but i can't recall all of them.         i am so sorry about the rages.....is this worse than being depressed. i think most people would think so, particularly your family.     i know nothing about respidral. hay, what can it hurt to try the prestiq, but try lexapro. PRESTIQ IS ANOTHER FORM OF CYMBALTA WITH THE SIDE EFFECTS.  I HOPE YOU FIND SOMEHTING THAT WORKS AND DON'T BE AFRAID TO SAY THIS ISN'T WORKING IF YOU HAVE GIVEN IT A COUPLE OF MONTHS. DON'T BE AFRAID AS IT IS YOUR MIND, YOUR HEALTH AND YOU CAN SAY NO.
