Hi, I have been on Effexor 150 mg for about a year now, and have noticed a significant increase in weight gain, and i haven't really changed my eating habits, i consulted another Dr. about the Effexor and if it causes weight gain, and he said it definately does cause weight gain and it also slows down your metabolism, so needless to say i am going off this drug!
