Q: Can Paxil or Lamotrigine make you fail a drug test?

I am currently taking a couple medications prescribed by my dr and failed a drug test for a new job, knowing I do not take any illegal drugs, I was wondering if these 2 can possibly make you fail a test?

Hi Gerald!

I have heard of this happening before...yes. The thing suggested to do is to be upfront about the prescriptions you are taking with your employer. As long as they are prescribed by a doctor the employer should be fine about things. But you never know.
