Topics:Ask The Experts

my husband abruptly stopped taking Zoloft after taking for 2-3 yrs for seasonal depression and alcohol abuse and taking Antabuse for the past 9-10 mos. He is dealing with a great deal of anger, easily agitated, feelings of failure and questioning why it seems the harder he works, there are more negative results than positive. Then the anger intensifies and just continues to add up. Shouldn't the withdrawal effects be out of his system now?

How long has it been?  You did not mention that.  But, I can tell you one thing, you never, ever, go off anything cold turkey.  You have to gradually go off of it with a drs help.  Does his doctor know this?
