Q: how long does a xanax stay in you system

I took a xanax 7 days ago how long will it stay in my system,and what would help flush me out

The length of time Xanax takes to clear the body depends on your age and the condition of your liver. The half-life is 11.2 to 19.7 hours, so 99% of it would be out of your body in 2.3 to 4.2 days.

 

No "flushing" will make it leave your system faster.

 

Do you have a drug screening coming up? Drug screenings are generally meant to look for illicit drugs, not those prescribed for you. Take your prescription bottle with you when you go for the test, and you should be fine.

You should be ok, from what I am reading it will usually be gone after a few days.
