Hi there

This is an excellent question to ask your doctor.  Another person you can call is your pharmacist.  They will know what precautions to take and if there are any interactions.  I would not take these two together until you ask either your doctor or pharmacist first.

In researching your question I found a phentermine forum where patients discuss your question.  And on this Doctors Lounge site, a warning is given that mixing these medications could lead to serotonin syndrome. which if left untreated, could be fatal.

Your best bet is to not take these two together unless you get clearance from your doctor.
