Hi,

I was on 20mg of Prozac then 40 then 60.  It stopped working after about 4 months.  I have been put on Prestiq 50mg......I have gained 15 pounds and can't get the weight off.  I don't know if it is from the antidepressant or menopause.  If I am so fat I will be depressed.  I eat right and go to the gym.Frown  Prestiq is working for depression and anxiety.  It works very well.  I don't know what to do about this sudden weight gain.

It worked for me for about 6 years.  I started at 20, then 40 all the way up to 80.  When the increase to 80 didn't help I started using other antidepressants.  They all stopped working after a while ( usually a long while) and I've had to keep switching.  Now I'm taking 60mg. of Cymbalta and it's working but I wonder if I went back to Prozac (it's been years and years) if it would work for me again.  You can get it for $8 at Wal*Mart and it sure would be nice.
