Q: Triavil and weight gain

Since starting Triavil I have unexplained weight gain. Is this a side-effect?

I am not increasing food intact or cutting back on activities.

Hi Joan

Well this is something to certainly discuss with your doctor.

In the meantime here is information about Triavil and possible side effects here.

It seems one of the issues that Triavil can help with is the loss of appetite.  So that is interesting.

And here are more side effects listed and weight gain is listed among them but as an unusual symptom.

I strongly suggest that you talk to your doctor or pharmacist about your weight gain and any correlation with taking this medication.

Thank you for your question.
