Q: can I take Prozac at night instead of morning?

I just started taking Prozac, I've been taking it at night since it makes me drowsy, is this ok? I just keep on hearing people say that they take it in the morning. Does it make any difference?

It doesn't make a difference.  But some people chose to take it in the morning because it energizes them.  Others chose to take it at night because it makes them drowsy.  It's your choice.

I was taking mine in the morning for years then all of a sudden I started getting overly tired during the day so I tried taking it at night instead and it has made a world of difference...I think it just depends on your body chemistry.  Which ever works for you.
