Dearest Katie Sue I'm no expert and it wasn't my Dad but my Mom that passed-it has been 20 years in Sept. and let me tell you it still feels like yesterday to me-time does heal the pain and you will get to were you remember the good more and more and you'll find you'll even be able to laugh at and about those good times. I met the man of my dreams during the passing of my Mom and he not only understood but gave me time to morn and one day he told me it was time to let go of the pain and remember the good. It was the hardest thing to hear but I prayed and during times of really missing her, like marriage, having my two children, she always seem to be there my sister-in-law even weaved my Moms picture into my flowers I carried in my wedding-my husband held her picture in the room during the births of my kids-she was there! You will find it does get easier it just takes time-some more than others. May God bless you and I will be praying for ladygraycloud/Suzanne and hugs
