Q: Does post-pardum depression occur only after having a baby? why does it happen?

I am speaking from my own experience, but it does seem to happen after the birth of a child.  I experienced with my second child and when for over two weeks of severe

depression.  You need to contact you doctor even if you think you might have signs of it before it gets too bad to function normally.
