I would like to know also.  I take effexor, not paroxetine, but I think it is at least partially responsible for my 30 pound weight gain.  I have terrible fatigue and can't get up either.   Plus I have Graves disease, which was treated by irradiation so now I am hypothyroid, as with Hashimoto's.  I have been taking levothyroxin of one brand or another for nearly 20 yrs, and having thyroid problems has a HUGE impact on every aspect of your life.  Even endocrinologists seem to think it is no big deal to simply take your supplements, but I have never been the same since my diagnosis.  I don't see how such a fine-tuned process as that of the thyroid gland can be duplicated by taking a pill.  So, that is my long-winded way of saying that I think the Hashimoto's likely has a lot to do with your difficulties.
